SIX WAYS TO USE VIRTUAL REALITY TO SUPPORT JUVENILES

toPointC is honored to work with local spiritual leaders and law enforcement to develop Virtual Reality training programs to support juveniles. Most juveniles deserve a second chance. Our automated training platform will help the incarcerated.
Our Virtual Reality training platform will provide law enforcement with a new ‘carrot’ to incentive the incarcerated to have a solid desire to learn new skills. This educational path will provide hope for participating inmates to become strong citizens of our communities.
Here is our six-step process for helping you make this a reality in your community.

1. APTITUDE

Many juveniles haven’t had proper parental care, were abused, or had limited educational opportunities. This lack of education, compassion, and emotional support may have made the juvenile feel that they don’t fit in our modern world. This lack of hope may have steered them toward getting in with the wrong crowd and committing a crime.
During their time in juvenile detention, your community has the renewed opportunity to provide hope for a future (to the hopeless). This hope may include a dream of a thriving career, a family, and happiness.
As a result, the first step is for an inmate to take a toPointC aptitude test to see what they enjoy and what they could be good at with the proper training.

2. GETTING STARTED

The next step will be to create a roadmap for the juvenile to desire to learn new skills. This roadmap will start their journey into seeing their time incarcerated as a way back into developing a life after being incarcerated (with learning).

3. REAL-LIFE TRAINING

toPointC provides training from the real world. This training isn’t a sci-fi fantasy training world. Our training will use 360 videos and photos that support the incarcerated feel like they are in the real world learning new topics and solving challenges in real life. No traditional classroom setting here! Our training model is fun, engaging, and meaningful.

4. PERSONALIZED

Our Virtual Reality training model provides a personalized approach for each juvenile. No traditional one-size-fits-all training here! toPointC training is personalized to the learner and provides a different scoring model than memorizing a series of facts for a multiple-choice test.

5. TESTING

The next step will be for the juvenile to create a track record in their personalized training curriculum. This testing will provide the juvenile and their mentor with real-time feedback on their development. Our training model allows re-do’s until they learn the lesson.

6. MENTORSHIP (JOB PLACEMENT)

The last step is to provide the juvenile with a real-world mentor in that industry. This supervised mentorship program will support preparing for a new position when they re-enter society. Upon completion, a juvenile has been trained and has found a new mentor that will either hire them or find them a new position.
