LEARN BY DOING

LEARN BY DOING

Traditional classroom learning models rely on auditory and written learning styles. Whether in an educational or work-related training space, this has significant and widely recognized limitations (Source). In our new industrial era, traditional classroom-based learning, where a teacher, lecturer, or trainer stands at the front of a class, is increasingly becoming a thing of the past (Source).

EVERY LEARNER IS UNIQUE

Every learner has a unique learning style. As a result, learning is reflected in how individual learner processes and retains information. For many, providing an engaging and interactive learning environment offers a more inclusive and accessible learning experience, especially for those predisposed to visual and kinesthetic learning styles (Source). Many experts agree that deep learning is best done by doing. Traditional training models require reading and hearing teachers to present a topic in a classroom setting (Source).

VISUAL LEARNING

Many learners better understand a learning topic with visual learning. VR training differs from traditional education as students see what they’re learning. These immersive environments feel like they are at the learning topic. For example, it’s one thing to thing to read a book about the Battle of Gettysburg.

It’s another learning experience when the learner feels like they are on the battlefield. As a result, having the ability to visualize complex functions or mechanisms makes it easier for a learner to comprehend (Source).
